Larisa Roxana Giurgiu, plus connue sous le nom de Roxen, est née le 5 janvier 2000. Elle réalise dès son plus jeune âge que la musique compte beaucoup pour elle. Elle commence alors à chanter dès l’âge de 7 ans et remporte de nombreuses compétitions musicales. Roxen a notamment été connue après avoir interprétée la chanson phare d’un film roumain à succès.
En 2020, la jeune artiste de 20 ans est sélectionnée en interne par la chaîne de télévision TVR. Ne restait plus qu’à lui trouver une chanson lors du programme Selecția Națională, parmi 5 titres : Beautiful Disaster, Cherry Red, Colors, Alcohol You et Storm. Et c’est finalement Alcohol You qui a été plébiscité par le jury et le public. Elle est reconduite en 2021 et interprètera le titre Amnesia en mai prochain, séléctionné en interne.
